Helping Students Win Green by Living Green
No one has a more "can do" attitude than students. Today's kids are brighter, more knowledgeable, and more concerned about the environment and the world around them than ever before. That's why we want to encourage them to "live green" in their schools with our "Live Green – Win Green" contest. We're challenging students across the state to produce a two-minute video and write an essay about how they're making their school a greener place, and how they can make more significant improvements to help their school "go green." It's not just about making their school more environmentally efficient – it's about making money to help their school and the environment. The winning entries receive $35,000 so students can help make their school improvement dreams come true – it's just one of the ways we're improving the educational environment.
